This image is part of series that came to me after my mom died of thyroid cancer in 2006. It is very personal and originally there was no plan to sell the image. However, after posting on instagram, the feedback I received from others in similar circumstances moved me to reproduce the image and post here. The butterfly represents the thyroid.

This is a handprinted linocut using Cranfield Safe Wash Relief Inks on 115 gsm cream-white BFK Rives Printmaking Paper. Print is 8" x 10" printed on 9" x 12" paper.

Artwork will arrive in a sturdy cardboard envelope. Print is nicely wrapped in butcher paper and black ribbon with a handprinted thank you postcard. Please note image on thank you card is different with every shipment.

This is a limited edition of 30 prints. Titled, signed, and editioned by the artist.
